It's been a great weekend for the club.
On Saturday (31st Aug) after a close win against Fleet our 3rd team secured promotion with a guaranteed 2nd place spot in their league. Although unlikely, a win against top team Theale next weekend by a large margin could actually see us crowned champions although our main objective has been secured.
The following day, our U17s had a cracking win in the semi-final of the county T20 blast competition against a strong Peppard and Stoke Row team. Defending only 100 runs, the boys bowled and fielded like Demons to bowl the opposition out for 80. (See photo).
The final is scheduled for next Sunday against Slough at Sulhampstead CC.
