School year - 7,8,9 and 10
Segment - Development- Hardball and / or softball
Equipment - not essential - bats, pads, box, gloves, helmet and ball

Wed evenings - 5.30pm to 6.30pm - net session - starting Wed 24th April 2024

Before progressing to our ladies team our girl players should play according to our code of CDCC:

Our Wednesday sessions will include;

1). Batting
Lots of drills based around 3 main shots - drive, sweep and pull.
Picking up line and length - knowing which balls to defend and which balls to attack.

2). Bowling
- Using the run up in a straight line to gather pace towards the crease - correct feet alignment and a straight follow through.

3). Fielding
Getting used to catching a hardball.
Working on throwing technique to get the ball in as quickly as possible.

Our Under 13 and Under 15 girls will be given opportunities to play full ladies cricket.
Should the desire be there, friendly matches can be arranged against other local teams.
